Fearless By: Francine Pascal
This summer I fell in love with a new series, Fearless. Written by Francine Pascal the new heroin, Gaia, comes to life. Since there are a lot of books in this series I will just cover the general idea and storyline.
Gaia is indeed fearless. The one thing and seems like the only thing she lacks is the gene fear. She is introduced living in New York City. Her mother is long dead. Her father she hasn’t heard or seen him since the day after her mother’s death. Her father has trained her well in every form of self defense there is and in a wide variety of languages.
She has a habit of walking around a central park in New York "looking for a fight". Now of course her father has taught her to only defend herself and others in need. Since she is a blond girl walking around a park in New York she generally is jumped or used. Or that’s the intent the attackers would have, but they’d soon be taught a lesson.
Now of course there would have to be some sort of twist, she has an uncle that is following her and wanting to kidnap her. He is in fact Gaia’s father’s twin. Now she’s never met him and doesn’t know he exists til later books. He knows that she if fearless and he tests her, sending different people out to harm her, to kidnap her, and to find out more about her.
Now of course she has to attend school, there she is a natural out-cast, somehow becoming friends with Ed, an ex-skate boarder now in a wheelchair. She now lives with George, a old friend of her dad’s and his new wife, Ella. Gaia and Ella really don’t get along to well.
Throughout the books Gaia befriends more people, escapes death-and-life situations, people die, and people are taught lessons.
Now it may seem like you only have to read one or two of these books to get the whole storyline. I do recommend this books, they’re well written and has an interesting storyline. Oh yeah, it is or was, a tv show.

If you love fearless you will also love Fearless FBI and Fearless Super Edition. Fearless Super Edition covers before Gaia and different parts of Gaia's life that the series didn't and I think but I don't know for sure, it mentions something about her collage life. And Fearless FBI, Gaia saved her graduation and got notice by the FBI even through they didn't want her. She has to follow the FBI strict procedures or get kick out. She walks on thin ice the first two books but I don't know about the third.
